Abstract
A low-cost remote sensing system for the acquisition and processing of georeferenced multispectral images of crop fields for precision agriculture applications has been developed. The system has been implemented using various types of low-cost airborne platforms with electronic equipment consisting of multispectral cameras and GPS. The acquired images are processed using algorithms that extract the information and determine the status of crops.
